I purchased one of these from Amazon:

We are now (again) getting excellent TV reception.
We have a good antenna in the garage attic, but the reception got worse on some channels – 4.1 and 5.1 in particular. The TPT/PBS issue with their broadcast towers over the summer of 2023 overlapped with our problems at our home.
I came close to getting a new, longer-range antenna but a knowledgeable neighbor discouraged that. The, I looked into TV antenna amplifiers and took a chance.
A trip into my garage attic was required to attach the amplifier part. Downstairs in our utility room, I added the little power supply / splitter to the coax cable from the antenna. It is permanently powered-on.
I think it was well worth the risk. For me, a very good $70 upgrade. We use our broadcast TV daily, and I’ve always got a lot of stuff set to record on our Tablo.
I would heartily recommend this for improving broadcast TV reception with an antenna.
